Thanks to Unyted Records out of Miami, Florida for sponsoring our April Meeting. Big shout Q running things. Unyted Records is trying to get on the map with a strong start with Q and his single "Gangsta Miss". Unyted has a whole roster of artist: Lil Pimp, Camille, Quincy, Ant Jiles, Teddy, Spunk, Wop, Raw, G. DOT, and Link. Look out for Unyted Records coming up and hit the website to hear a snippet of "Gangsta Miss". We are glad that 3rd Finger Record Pool can assist and play a part in introducing their music to Cincinnati and other areas we cover. Let's make it happen!
Quincy began his career in the entertainment industry five years ago. Before considering using his own ability in the art of music, Q worked as a promoter booking events and shows for artists such as Jay Z, Mystikal, Outkast, and Noreaga, to name a few. As his involvement and interest with the revolutionizing hip-hop world grew, Q began to take on another side of entertainment. Inspired by the artistry and success of talents such as Dana Dane, LL Cool J, and MC Shan, Quincy picked up a pen and paper and began to write music. His powerful lyrics were successfully picked up and produced by several artists.
Now that Quincy has realized the potential in his written words, he has decided to step into a new dimension not only writing his own music, but performing it as well. After days on end working in studios in Miami, Florida, Unyted Records, an independent label out of Miami discovered Quincy. This company noticed the heart and dedication he had and decided to make a worthy investment in this new artist making this the beginning of their second project. This up and coming artist is now ready to embrace this new beginning and make the world his center stage.

Record Pool Info
3rd Finger Record Pool started in the summer of 1996 by G-Fresh & Mr. Dibbs. We felt that the Greater Cincinnati Area had no representation in the form of a Record Pool to service the Urban DJ's (Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Bass & Reggae/Dancehall). Our goal was also to help raise the level of entertainment in the area. What better way than to get DJ's the records they need, and to get them the records early so that they would have an opportunity to break new music in their markets.
For those who don't know, a record pool is an association of DJ's who meet at least once a month to network and to receive the latest releases available from record companies. Generally, the Record Pool Directors get promotional records for the amount of DJ's they have in their Record Pool shipped to them at no cost, mostly singles and some albums depending on the release and the label. In return, the director provides the record company with a roster of all of their DJ's, feedback on their records in the form of response sheets and charts, and more importantly spins on the records to create a buzz in the market for people to go out and buy the product. An even trade. Dj's in the pool pay a monthly fee to belong to the pool and provide the pool director with the needed charts and feedback on the records in the clubs, at parties, on the air, etc...
Our roster is full of reputable Club, Radio, Mobile & Mix Tape Disc Jockeys. 3rd Finger Record Pool reports to the Urban Coalition, Urban Tip, Living Dangerously, Whole Entertainment, The Urban Truth, Urban Network, Behind The Scenes, RapAttackLives.com, www.recordpoolcharts.com, Music Promotions 101 http://musicpromotions101.com/, http://www.hiphopdx.com & Insomniac and many more. Our charts are sent to WIZF 100.9 FM, Everybody’s Records, HotWax - DJ Wreck Shop, Phil’s Records and Diamond In Da Rough Record Store. 3rd Finger Record Pool is a top 20 Urban Coalition reporter.
